These are Dignity Bags that I made for the Quality Health Care Center in NorthPort, Florida.
These bags are tied to the lower back of a wheelchair to hide a drainage bag while a resident is in the public.

These are some of the Prayer cloths I made along with the White Prayer Shawl for " Project Prayer Renewal".

Our Project for March was " Project Prayer Renewal ". Our Ministry made Prayer Cloths, Prayer Shawls and Prayer Scarves. This project was for renewing ourselves and becoming closer to the Lord. It's such a Blessing to be able to be there when another person is in need and be able to show them that there is others that care too.

Here is an Email that " For The Heart Ministry " received from " Gifts for the Unborn ".

Dear Ladies of the "For the Heart" Ministry,
Last week a wonderful box full of handmade baby booties and caps came to our ministry which is called "Gifts for the Unborn." These precious donations came from your ministry and it is my understanding that they represented your collective effort to send your love at Valentine's day. You called this effort "Project Valentine."

I want to tell each of you that your donation is wonderful and to assure you all that everything that was sent to us will be very useful as we work to help rid the world of the scourge of abortion.

It is my sincere hope that we can look for your group to share your talents with our effort at some time in the future. I am especially glad to know that we have our first donor from Australia and also our first from Scotland.

If any of you has a question for me, please do not hesitate to write. Thank you once again.

In God's Love,

Dick Jacobs, Founder/Director, Gifts for the Unborn

For February the "For The Heart Ministry" did a special project for " Gifts for the Unborn". We crochet and knitted Baby Booties, Baby Hats, Baby Socks, Washcloths and Baby Bibs. It turned out to be a wonderful project. A total of 138 Baby Items were made!

A New Year has begun. And a New Year for helping others. I just finished a beautiful Scarf Pattern that was shared with me. It's called the Crocus Scarf pattern. This pattern will make a lovely Prayer scarf.

The design is so dainty.

These are wash cloths I knitted for Crosslines.
Crosslines is a charitable organization in the inner City of Kansas City, KS that helps to support the poor and homeless in that area. Besides the wash cloths, there is also dish cloths that are made too, which Crosslines includes in the boxes of commodities they deliver each month to people who are homebond. Which is mostly the elderly.

This is a email received by Margaret Mary ( Founder of For The Heart ).
For the gifts that were given to Unity House.

Members of For the Heart Ministry,
Last Friday afternoon, when I came to meet you at our St. Ministry program, I was not expecting the amazing amount of handmade items that you arrived with. We are overwhelmed with gratitude over the amount of time and the prayers you put into these wonderful gifts.
Each year, Unity House provides shelter to over 200 adults and children who are directly or indirectly victims of violence. Most of these families have no one else to turn to for help, and need comprehensive services that only begin with our shelter. Our staff is able to offer many services including legal assistance, medical assistance, and counseling. We are very grateful when the community reaches out to help them as you have. It is a difficult time for victims and their families and during this period Unity House tries to bring a feeling of normalcy and safety to their lives.
For 35 years, Unity House has provided support for area residents in need. We have been able to be there for people when there were no other resources available. Lives have been enhanced, families have been fed, children have been given developmental support, mentally ill adults have been given the chance for a full, productive life and victims of domestic violence have been given shelter and hope.
Your beautiful items will be shared between the families in our domestic violence shelter and families who find themselves in need during the upcoming holiday season.
We have many children in need of warm hats, gloves, scarves and sweaters and it will be wonderful for them to receive something made with love and prayers.
With gratitude and awe for all your good works,
Judy
